With any of our tinctures and most of our topicals, we have 4 different potency options so choosing the right potency for you will also take a bit of experimentation. Usually people just like to jump in somewhere, often based on a price point, and then begin their experimentation to see how much they need to actually get the results they are looking for. So if you start with a lower potency you may find that perfect for you, or you may find out that you need to use more to get the results you are looking for. The tinctures will have measurements on the dropper that will make it easy for you to experiment to find the right potency and for the topicals you may need to use a 1/4 tsp measuring spoon. Once you start experimenting to find the right potency for your needs, keep note of the amount you are consuming and how many total mg of the cannabinoid you need for the results you are looking for. if you find yourself using more than 1 full size dropper for the tinctures or multiple serving sizes for the topicals, we recommend going up in potency next time so that you use less product over time and save money.
CBD (Cannabidiol), CBG (Cannabigerol), and CBN (Cannabinol) are compounds found in the hemp plant. Baceae uses CBD, which contain various cannabinoids and terpenes but 0% THC, to provide benefits often associated with the “entourage effect” without psychoactive effects. Our tinctures are olive oil-based and can be taken directly in the mouth or added to your favorite beverage or food. They come with a calibrated dropper for easy and safe dosage.
We recommend experimenting to find the potency and timing that works best for your unique needs. A good way to start is by taking your desired dose when you don’t have much to do, which will allow you to gauge how it makes you feel. You can then adjust the potency and timing based on that to achieve the benefits you are looking for.
Yes, at Baceae, we believe all products should be made with organic ingredients that are ethically grown. We ensure our sourced ingredients are certified organic and are products of the United States, Canada, and if grown elsewhere, Fair-Trade certified. Our cannabis is organic and sourced directly from farms in the United States. The majority of offerings are Fair Trade Certified by Fair Trade USA.
We ship via USPS and UPS. To ensure confections arrive in perfect condition, especially during warmer months (June-October), we may require 2nd Day or Next Day Air shipping and include cooling materials. Standard shipping is available for tinctures and topicals year-round. We ship confections Monday-Thursday (and not on Thursdays from June-October). Orders without confections ship on all 5 weekdays. Apply topicals as needed to the desired area. Similar to tinctures, you may need to experiment with the amount to find what works best for you.

All of our products are either fully gluten-free or naturally gluten-free. In full transparency, the oats we use are made in the same facility as gluten so they are considered naturally-gluten free but should be avoided by those with severe gluten allergies. - Confections: Keep in a cool, dry, dark place, ideally between 60-70°F and below 55% humidity. Store for up to the “best by date” listed on the box. Not following these conditions can cause “bloom” (a light-colored powdery surface), which doesn’t affect safety but can alter texture.
- Tinctures: Store for up to 2 years from the “bottled date.”
- Topicals: Store for up to 24 months from the open date.
