baceae was founded in the small coastal town of cambria, ca by mike coulson and miho watanabe. together we hand craft our edibles in small batches, using the highest quality ingredients and always with our consumers quality of life in mind.
a lot of edibles on the current market contain very high potencies with very little nutrition that don’t allow you to function during your day to day activities. there were many times where we would nibble on an edible and soon feel the effects of an uncontrollable high, not being able to get much else done for the rest of the day. we wanted a cannabis enhanced state, without the high potency after effects, while still enjoying a full serving of a delicious snack.
we believe all food, edibles included, should be made with organic ingredients that are ethically grown. we ensure our sourced ingredients are certified organic and are products of the united states, canada, and if grown elsewhere, fair-trade certified. our cannabis is clean green certified, which is currently the only nationally recognized third-party certification that ensures safe, organic, and sustainable cannabis practices. with respect for our planet, every one of our business decisions is made with sustainability in mind. all of our packaging is either 100% recycled or biodegradable.
with each edible we craft, we hope to eliminate any preconceived notions, fear or stigma about cannabis edibles. allowing them to be approachable to all users regardless of experience or life styles, whether they are long time cannabis aficionados or completely new to the extraordinary power of the cannabis plant.
we create food first edibles. with each bite, we want you to enjoy the flavors of the food first, then enjoy the high.

about our ingredients
food first edibles
baceae offers consumers with what we call "food first edibles". we believe edibles should not be intimidating, should have easy dosing and are created to allow the flavors to be enjoyed first and then the high. we have kept each serving of our edibles in a lower range, so each piece can be eaten in its entirety at any time of the day with complete control of how much cannabis is being ingested.
1 piece is 1 serving and 1 serving is 10 mg of thc. simple.
clean green certified
the cannabis used in our edibles are clean green certified, which is currently the only nationally recognized third-party certification that ensures safe, organic, and sustainable cannabis. consumers can be rest assured when they buy a product with clean green certified cannabis, it is of the highest quality, naturally clean and environmentally friendly.

organic & fair trade
we believe all food, edibles included, should be made with organic ingredients that are grown ethically. we ensure our sourced ingredients are certified organic and are products of the united states, canada and if grown elsewhere, fair-trade certified.
the only ingredient we apply heat to in our products is the chocolate we melt down and the cannabis coconut oil we make. we like the natural flavors plants have to offer in their raw form and feel there is no need to further cook if nature has already provided.
all of our products contain no animal products or by-products. our chocolate contains no dairy, but in full disclosure, is processed on the same equipment as milk chocolate.
